A 1:1 session with Aubrey to strategize for your specific goals
Kickoff event to jumpstart your networking and tee off the course together
Membership in the Changing the Narrative online community for the next year to continue the connections and learning
Ongoing access to course materials to replay anything you missed or want to revisit
Offered live only once a year. Join the waitlist, or if you don’t want to wait, you can register here to watch the last cohort’s recordings on demand, as well as gain immediately access to schedule your 1:1 with Aubrey whenever you’d like. You’ll then be automatically registered to participate live with the next cohort at no additional cost.

I’ve been in every one of these categories — a student or new grad going for my first job without a lot of experience, early career gunning for more challenge and responsibility, ready for my first department head role and wanting to make sure I crushed it, an aspiring ED with management experience under my belt navigating how to take the leap, a VP on the senior leadership team at a major institution, and an Executive Director of a multi-million dollar organization.
I’ve felt the frustrations firsthand, consumed the research on how to combat the challenges, and delivered results in every role—and the number one career question I’m asked is how to chart a path through it all to be a force for positive change in the field of arts and culture. I made this course to share everything I’ve learned with you so you can do the same.

Yes please! Especially if you are considering a career pivot, or want to learn more about administrative roles, this content will be valuable to you. Artists have participated in past cohorts and always bring so much value to the group.

The weekly full group sessions will be recorded for asynchronous learning and participation. The small group coachings will not be recorded to create a safe space for conversation that won’t be shared beyond the small group.

This course is intentionally offered at a lower price than other arts professional development programs and a lower price than one-on-one coaching. The best way to save is to register early as prices will increase per the following schedule:

A few notes for you on how the 2023 Uplevel will be different than what you’ll hear about in the video above:
Monday full group sessions are 75 minutes instead of an hour to allow for full group discussion. This was the biggest piece of feedback from last year’s participants (“we want to talk to each other during the full group sessions!”), so time for that is incorporated this year.
All small group sessions are on Tuesdays at varying times throughout the day, and you can come whenever works for you. During registration you’ll be prompted for your availability so we can try to make sure peer groups are together.
The registration fee includes a one year membership to the Changing the Narrative Community so you can have instant access to a network of likeminded professionals and professional development events on an ongoing basis.
